David Printy

Executive Director

David Printy

David Printy has served as a senior administrator for the largest private and public medical schools in America, along with their physician practices, teaching hospitals, and residency programs at affiliated community hospitals. 

During his tenure with Drexel College of Medicine, Mr. Printy served as chief operating officer, overseeing the daily operations of the entire school, along with serving as CEO of the faculty practice with 34 clinic locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In his role as CEO of Physician Practice, he negotiated physician services agreements to fill various department chair and medical staff positions at five Tenet hospitals and the regional Catholic hospital system. Mr. Printy led the redesign of the faculty practices so as to meet the patients’ needs in an ever-changing market. 

In addition, Mr. Printy was founding managing director of the Physicians Academy, a program to develop physician leadership for the developing patient-centered care model. The Academy was a partnership with the Harvard School of Public Health, University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Business, 22 medical schools, and the World Healthcare Congress.

Cliff Drechsler-Martell, MD

Cliff Drechsler-Martell, MD

Cliff Drechsler-Martell, MD, is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, he has served as consultant for Easter Seals Rehabilitation, Meriden Visiting Nurses Association, Bristol Meyers Squibb, and Wilcox Technical School. 

Dr. Drechsler-Martell has worked at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden for over 30 years, serving on hospice, quality assurance, utilization review, and credentialing committees, and he continues to work there as a consultant. He is medical director of four independent nursing homes and attends to many patients at other long-term care facilities, as well.

Olinda Cunha

Director, Care Coordination

Olinda Cunha

Olinda Cunha is a registered nurse with 23 years of combined leadership and clinical experience in the acute care community health setting.  Olinda earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing at Molloy College in New York. She joined MPS in 2014 as Director of Care Coordination to lead a team of professionals in managing population health for nearly 40,000 patients enrolled in commercial and Medicare shared savings programs.  

Working collaboratively with MPS physician members, Olinda and her team systematically analyze the effectiveness of clinical practices and services, including relevant medical record and claims data, to identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes, access to care, quality metrics, and shared savings. In addition to her role at MPS, Olinda is an adjunct professor at Western Connecticut State University School of Nursing. 


Tammy Hendricks

Membership Development Associate 

Tammy Hendricks

Tammy Hendricks is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where she earned a B.S degree in Allied Health Sciences. With her knowledge of practice based healthcare delivery and science she has successfully provided insightful pharmaceutical customer service to physician and nursing providers that are committed to quality care and patient satisfaction. During this time, she has worked with medical offices and physicians in various specialties throughout the State of Connecticut.

Tammy has brought her customer service skills and knowledge of physician practices to her current role as Membership Development Associate here at MPS.  She serves as a liaison between MPS and the provider members to further assist them in leveraging support of the MPS Care Coordination services to improve the value of care provided by MPS member practices.  Tammy will develop and maintain relationships with our members while providing customer service and educating them on the other benefits and services MPS has to offer.


Denise Astle

Manager, Member Services

Denise Astle

Denise Astle brings over 15 years’ experience in administrative, marketing, and HR functions to her role as manager of member support services. She is responsible for support services for payer relations and professional credentialing for all staff aligned with MPS member practices. 

Denise plays a critical role assuring proper physicians paneling for commercial payer contracts and products to improve claims payments for all MPS members. In addition to her member services role, Denise is MPS’s HR coordinator. She has been the key contact for member practices since 2007.
